A Trip to Paris
One thing is for sure – a trip to Paris is not a trip to Paris without visiting the Eiffel Tower. For anyone who has not seen this wonderful monument, it is not so much the travelling up this wonderful monument, which of course is a fantastic experience in itself, it is more the trip that you will take to get to the Eiffel Tower. One of the most enjoyable ways to discover Paris is by foot, and a great way to do that, is to get to a location reasonably close to the tower, and then try and find it for yourself! As you walk through the small back streets, you will see the true Paris, and around every corner, you will see the Eiffel Tower looming ever larger. Sometimes, it will disappear out of view, and sometimes it will appear to be right in front of you, but in truth it could take you hours to arrive at your destination. By the time you have, you will have seen the best Paris has to offer.
Of course, Paris is about more than the Eiffel Tower. The Louvre is a wonderful free museum, and the Notre Dame Cathedral is a sight to behold. Enjoying a coffee and cake on the side of the Seine on the Left Bank is one of the most heavenly experiences you can have, and a walk under the Champs Elysee is wondrous too, especially for anyone who is a fan of the tour de France! If you haven’t been yet, find yourself some cheap flights to Paris and get yourself there quick!
